Banjaras are traditionally “ nature “ lovers they have been secluded. They generally do not mix with other community so easily. The permanent settlers of sindh pranth of panjab , which is now in Pakistan, now the banjaras become homeless.The original tradition is changing day by day due to the advancement and amalgamation .
And “Boti- bati” , phetiya , kanchali , hasab , nasab , are losing art and culture and catching the fire of modern society.To recognize banjaras one has to look at dressing pattern especially women. The colorful dress with the traditional embroidery mirror work has unique identity which is disappearing from the regular wear. The colorful dance of men and women traditionally the first step gift to the modern dance.Banjara Craft awakened the world with its beauty finds a place in regular fashion, to-day.
         
Banajra women are in the front of Indian fashion, breaking new ground with their exquisitely embroidered ghagras, bridal veils, red, blue and black duppattas.This is predominantly an agarian community; embroidery is just a way of life. Clothes have always provided the best example of Banjara, bead craft work, what they however lacked was, professional guidance to package their work and market them.Their work and design of sophistication has a creative sense and each design has a specific meaning attached to it. Banjara's wearing are now in the fashion of treasure. The garments in the industrial front take the banjara embroidery in the industrial front take the banjara embroidery as their real assets. The tradition which comes alive from Sandur handicraft is the best reflection of Banjara craft in fashion.
